Well, at least now we have conclusive proof that garlic does not grown on vines! By the way, tulip and daffodil bulbs are sent to me in clean shape. I never thought of this till now.

sometimes, we buy garlic at the farmers stand, it is very dirty but delicious.

You would be surprised how many people don't know where their food comes from and how it looks before being processed.
