Besides crackers and chips, what do you recommend? No pickles please.
Cheddar cheese Combos.

I haven't eaten one in a while either. We accidentally left a box at my dad's house when we were on vacation a couple of years ago. He loved them. He's diabetic and the low sugar works for him. That's what I bring him as one of his Christmas presents since he doesn't live near any Costcos.

In my defense I think they are both fairly healthy substitutes for a lot of the packaged salty snacks.

Gardettos

Sharp cheddar spread or cheddar and bacon and Keebler's onion crackers.

Lately in the stores I've been seeing those big containers of cheesy balls that crunch and melt into nothingness in your mouth and turn your fingers orange. I want some. Silly me.

I love cashews! They have to be whole and salted lol.

On our lunch hour, we used to get little bags of warm cashews at the Planters Peanut Shoppe. I heat them just a bit in the microwave, and I'm reminded of that place.

Delicious!

Oh yes, warm nuts, had forgotten....really good.

I like whole, roasted, salted. No unsalted or raw for me!

Kasugai Roasted Green Peas.

They come in plain and hot. The hot ones are my favorite; the heat comes from wasabi. They're delicious.

jicama I love this in slices or sticks, dip it if needed. It will hit the crunch, but you will have to add the salt.
