that actually sounds great. I will try it. I usually put the cream cheese on a toasted bread or bagel and I add some veg like a tomato or even celery. But olives actually sound better than my sliced tomatoes.

My MIL makes an olive nut spread at the holidays that is mostly chopped olives, chopped pecans, cream cheese, and it is absolutely delicious on crackers.

It would have to be green olives to me. I've never had it but it sounds pretty good. Although I am pretty sure I would just try it once, because the flavor of the olives sounds kind of overpowering. I think I would prefer something different like tomatoes or cucumbers, something that was plainer in flavor.

I love cream cheese (just had some today on a bagel, YUM) and I like olives on SOME things (like enchiladas, YUM), but cream cheese and olives together? Eeeeek!!
I've gotta say olives with enchiladas confused me more than cream cheese and olive sandwiches.

Olives are good on pizza or mixed into a salad or pasta dish, but olives don't sound like they would go well with Mexican.

I enjoy a toasted cream cheese sandwich every now and then, I might try it with olives next time.

Around here you would not find that on any menus however every bagel shop within 50 miles serves cream cheese with chopped olives. It's a great combination. The salty olives with tangy cream cheese! YES!

I make a spread recipe that was my friend’s mother’s recupe. It feels very 1950’s but it is very good.

Cream cheese, softened, mixed with a jar of green olive slices (drained) and a bunch of toasted walnuts. Refrigerate until ready to serve with triscuits and celery sticks.

You can also make this into a cheese ball.

Here in the south proper tea parties usually
Have cream cheese and cucumbers on white bread for tea sandwiches.
I love cream cheese spread on a cold flour tortilla with chopped green onions and black olives.
Roll up the tortilla like a joint, then cut into several rolls.
