I bring that average down as I only eat eggs when it's an ingredient in something.

I used to eat a lot of eggs. Then there was the cholesterol testing.

Eat between 4 - 13 eggs a day. Had 9 so far this morning (5 pre-workout) - 4 when I got to work. Always scrambled. Have low cholesterol.

That has to be figured into this average. I don't see any way that there is an average of 300 whole eggs per year (nearly one per day) consumed by everyone in the country.

I don't eat that many... Maybe 2 or 3 a day. But likewise, I have low cholesterol.
That being said, I eat very little red meat. It's an occasional treat I save for when I go out to dinner, or when I want to spoil myself at home and cook one single steak -- either beef or lamb, normally.
