Trader Joe's has Peruvian Potato Chips which don't have any added flavoring. But they use purple and red potatoes which are cooked to be very crispy. Real potato-y flavor.
Next best to me is Kettle Brand rippled black pepper & salt chips. Very flavorful!
When I was a kid, BBQ all the way. Now they just have an artificial taste. As an adult I had a real love for sour cream flavor until I got sick off them one day and can't stand them ever since.
My current favorites are black pepper, salt and vinegar, or jalapeno.
It's a toss up between Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips and BBQ chips. When I was a child I couldn't get enough of those BBQ chips with the Hillbilly on them. I can't remember the name of them, but they were great.
