I'll cook up some rice and peas and fried sweet plantains on the side.

HAPPY ST. PADDY'S DAY EVERYONE (not to nitpick but it is Paddy not Patty, it is short for Patrick or Padraig)

I put my corned beef in the slow cooker last night, so it will be corned beef on Jewish rye with mustard and sauerkraut; potato salad, pickles and lemon meringue tarts for dessert.

Making boiled corned beef with cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. There will be both horseradish and mustard sauces. Hubby wants to make soda bread so I guess we'll be having that as well. Happy St. Paddy's!

Thank you Praline for explaining I did not know.

Enjoy your dinner and I wished I could have one little lemon meringue tart.
