Debsi, thanks for the love and especially the wonderful picture! It made me smile (a sideways smile! ).

I tried a new recipe and we all liked it. Pineapple chicken over white rice. We're starting to get creative now that we're avoiding the grocery store. It was a good meal, I'll make it again.

Hang in there Karen and everyone else.

This evenings dinner was a Sweet Potato Marinara over whole grain Farfalle, served with my freshly baked whole grain wheat/rye sourdough bread and a mixed green salad. A glass of zinfandel wine topped it off.

Needless to say my "dinner" was delicious ... I may have popcorn for dessert ...

Sorry, all, I'm in a bad funk, and I don't know why except that I am very worried about SO many things due to this pandemic. It's incredibly selfish and self-indulgent of me because I personally am not really suffering at all -- I am healthy, I am working at home for my normal salary (have been all semester due to my 2 knee surgeries, so I didn't even have to adjust my class when my campus went remote), my house is fine, I have plenty of food and water and toilet paper. So I'm annoyed as heck at myself, but all I want to do is sleep -- and again, I am NOT sick -- it's depression-sleep, not being-sick-sleep. I REALLY must get over it SOON ...
We all have our downs times and right now more than most of the time: Remember the 3 Fs;
Family

Tonight is our curb side pick up night: we are picking up from one of our more upscale restaurants in town: well our only upscale to be honest: We are ordering a rack of ribs I think, plus a couple of small side salads, but not sure yet: Spoiled brat will have to see what he really wants.

To all of you; try to get out when you can even for a few minutes, try and see a bright side of this crisis and lets all stick together. Life will improve. Actually that is one reason we are doing the once a week curb side pick up: it gets us out even for a couple of minutes and we are helping to support the local businesses.

It's lunchtime and I'm having three quarter pounder burgers with blue cheese inside ciabatta, then some bakewell tarts.
