Hubby has requested burgers on the grill, his favorite hot & smokey baked beans, and pasta salad with broccoli & tomatoes. All are old stand-by's. Berry pie with ice cream for dessert. Our kids and all relatives are 1,000+ miles away, so it's just us.

I got outvoted in our two people democracy - rib eye, garden salad and lots of Parmesan for me who does not care for steak.

Nibbles are nice hard salami, apple slices, hummus with a kick and skinny strips of Foccacia air fried into crunchies. Do not hold the wine as it will be a week of whines.

We spent the day out at the beach as a family. Our two boys, my step daughter and her husband had a great day celebrating Father's Day with my husband. We all went for an early dinner here at https://www.brickalley.com/ in Newport RI.
The table split an order of beef nachos.

And I had the lobster rueben with a Narragansett to drink.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Father's Day!

Magic, I am drooling over your pictures!!

Tonight I had leftover chicken breast (cold) -- ate it with barbecue sauce and just 3 of my favorite veggies (onions, tomatoes, mushrooms -- carrots would have taken too long!). Forgot to take a picture as I'd delayed dinner too long so I started eating as soon as I sat down.

Happy Father's Day to everyone who celebrates it! I used to sometimes call my mom on Father's Day because for most of my life she was both Mom AND Dad. I know some of you are missing your fathers, and I send hugs to you, as I lost my mom on 7/3/19 (coming up on a year) and Mother's Day this year was very hard.

OK, back to grading for me. I hope everyone has a great week!
