HAPPY FATHER'S DAY EVERYONE. Happy parent's day to others.

I think merging Mother's and Father's day, may not be a bad idea, and less painful for some. I spent most of my life without a mother, thanks to cancer, and with a clueless father, who had no idea that she was a gold digger. And evil gold digger.

Just venting a bit.

Happy Father's Day to all of the Dads!
We had a nice day today, unfortunately it was without our two daughters and their families. But we Facetimed and that was fun. I had made a batch of vegan bratwurst up last night to be cooked on the grill today, but as time got near to get everything rolling it started to rain. No worries... inside it was.
We had the bratwurst browned in a cast iron pan, then added a couple sliced onions and a can of Hamm's beer to steam the brats the rest of the way. Also we had Mrs B's InstantPot baked beans, a salad, and the trimmings so to speak for the brats, dijon mustard, my homemade horseradish, and some jarred sauerkraut. To drink a nice zinfandel wine.
For dessert, Mrs B's vegan apple custard squares and coffee!
Wonderful!

Summer is here............

Creamed cottage cheese with chives from the garden,caraway,salt/black pepper and boiled potatoes with butter.Red radishes and white radish were on sale so a mixed radish salad with Vidalia onion slices,salt/black pepper, olive oil and white vinegar. To drink lemon water. This is usually the season I start enjoying cherries, but they taste terrible this year and are extremely expensive. Therefore honeydew melon slices for dessert.
