Yes, but if I put a single tea ball in my recycling bin I'm pretty sure it would end up in a landfill anyway. The point was not to pass a broken item on to someone who would assume it was functional. That's a crummy thing to do.

I agree, if it is not working, why would someone else want it? Same with stained clothing or chipped china, don't add to the charity burden by giving them trash.

But I like the idea of a pot pourri hanger.

I finally sent to Goodwill a working but unneeded hot beverage dispenser. I’ve had it for years and used it fewer than 10 times. Out it went.

I need to get rid of my old fry pan but I'm still trying to look for a really good non stick one. I'm also planning to treat myself with a new knife set from victorinox. The set looks pretty good with different types of knives and even comes with a sharpening steel which is really handy.
