Just got home from my favorite supermarket. Going to get a whole pig to roast for Thanksgiving this year. Talked to the meat manager and with lead time they will be special ordering them in. This means a new grill with the smoker box and all. Looks like a new family tradition in the making. Now if KSHE will share some Maulls we might make a deal here.

Sara lee put sorbitol in my bread. And another bread maker added sardine oil. It may as well be sorbothane, and motor oil. I will have to carry a magnifying glass in order to read ingredients. The print is so tiny, they could add ant legs, and none of us would be the wiser. Sorbitol doesn't belong in anything. What's wrong with flax oil and regular sugar ? or is it the cost ? I hate when they adulterate our foods.

Wow, Nomad, DH has always wanted to roast a whole pig, he has never found a likely source, did you order it from Publix?
Negotiations for transfer of Maulls just might have to commence!

Yes Publix. Talk to the meat manager.. It is a seasonal item from what I learned today. My manager is checking to make sure they still will have them this year. I think the smallest is around 20lbs dressed weight. With a big grill larger ones can be had..I'll know more soon. Got a new smoker grill picked out at Lowes just for the job...One Apple, one Carrot, and a pig...Some wood and charcoal and I'm in business.
