I had nice fat tasty cherries today for lunch, and a hunk of salmon. The funny thing to me about salmon is that it seems to taste about the same no matter how you prepare it: boiled, fried, planked, or baked.

Salmon has a very distinctive flavor, I think. The best I ever had was at a restaurant in Tucson, with a champagne cream sauce.

Yes, the sauce can make a difference.
I've always wanted to try some of that Copper River king salmon to find out if the flavor of the fish alone is any different from cheaper types, but I could never justify the expense ...... it's just too outrageously spendy.
most memorable thing about what we ate yesterday was our company was gone, so we could return to eating the way we like. Let me add, I love spoiled brats cousin and his wife, we love to talk about the family and what it was like growing up. They were both from small towns in WV and met in college. We too met in college, but were from the big city. We also share similar political views, but the part we don't share is eating habits. That is why, when they leave we can go back to enjoying our style of food.
nmnita a couple questions and I hope you don't mind.
Who is "spoiled brat"? Husband?
What is the eating style of your company? What is your eating style? I'm curious which is close to our eating style. I am going to guess yours is but I will wait for your answer before saying for sure.
I only have 1 box of Clear value Mac and cheese left!!
Kinda sad.......... The 2 cases lasted me several months.... I hope I can order more!!! (Have to get it from outta state)
Is that a boxed item? You could make your own (I have a recipe I created myself for the cheese sauce)
If that is what you like though I hope you can get more ordered.
I made my last box last night...... Even though i let it OVERCOOK there were 4 noodles that were NOT COOKED ALL THE WAY!! (Its disgusting)
I dont know what they are doing to the pasta @ the factory BUT ITS SICKENING!!!!!! (They must not be cooking it 100% originally if it doesnt respond the same for me!!)
Tonight I boiled elbow macaroni then added extra virgin olive oil a bit of butter black pepper and topped it with either fine shredded Parmesan cheese or fine shredded co-jack cheese. It was a nice light supper.
