I had nice fat tasty cherries today for lunch, and a hunk of salmon. The funny thing to me about salmon is that it seems to taste about the same no matter how you prepare it: boiled, fried, planked, or baked.

Salmon has a very distinctive flavor, I think. The best I ever had was at a restaurant in Tucson, with a champagne cream sauce.

Yes, the sauce can make a difference.

I've always wanted to try some of that Copper River king salmon to find out if the flavor of the fish alone is any different from cheaper types, but I could never justify the expense ...... it's just too outrageously spendy.

nmnita a couple questions and I hope you don't mind.

Who is "spoiled brat"? Husband?

What is the eating style of your company? What is your eating style? I'm curious which is close to our eating style. I am going to guess yours is but I will wait for your answer before saying for sure.

Is that a boxed item? You could make your own (I have a recipe I created myself for the cheese sauce)
If that is what you like though I hope you can get more ordered.

Tonight I boiled elbow macaroni then added extra virgin olive oil a bit of butter black pepper and topped it with either fine shredded Parmesan cheese or fine shredded co-jack cheese. It was a nice light supper.
