I was going to post this in Books, but here is better.
I got a free on kindle, Tater Tot Casserole cookbook. When I decide which recipe sounds the least awful, I might try one.
Hint, there is almost always canned soup and evaporated milk involved.

thanks, I will leave that one to our t tot friends. I am not a fan of them period and rarely use evaporated milk. I am sure many will find recipes they love.

Can we talk about Sloppy Joe’s (Manwich) from a can? I seem to remember it having visible pieces of onion and perhaps peppers. Even the picture on the can shows it that way. However, when I made it today it was only a thin red sauce with nothing in it. I added some corn, so it was fine, but I’ll think twice about buying it again.

It looks like when this thread was started 10 years ago (when that post is from), the idea was that it was a general chat thread - not food related - for people who were regularly posting together about food and wanted to share more of their life with each other.

Somewhere along the line, that has seemingly morphed into this being a catchall topic to move individual threads with food related topics that are deemed not worthy of being their own thread.

I finally got up the gumption to make some bean dip that goes well with crackers or a ready made base filling for tacos or burritos.
