Nothing at the moment. My spouse is out of town on business for the next two weeks, so we'll delay until he returns.

I’ll be meeting up with my chef SO for a late night Chinatown meal and lots of drinks.

Less because it’s a “romantic” day and more to do with Valentines Day being one of the worst nights of the year for restaurant industry employees.

We will be steering clear of restaurants a week in either direction of Valentine's Day. Our city has also decided to declare "restaurant week" to be immediately before Valentine's.

We will simply visit some of the nicer ones we like, at least a week before or after, probably on a week night.

We will buying whatever fresh at one our favorite supermarket. Most likely some nice steak for my husband, he hasn’t been eating steak lately. I’ll probably get some fish or scallops. Not into steak.

We already have our reservation at Waffle House. We do this every year. Our local Waffle House, decorates and puts out white table cloths and flowers and entertains a full house for Valentines. We have been going there for five years and we have so much fun. Juke box is in full swing and everyone is happy.

No kidding? I didn't know that about Waffle House.

Only ate there once. They had kick-rump potatoes!

Not much. My husband likes raspberry jello, so maybe I'll make some. We have multiple birthdays in Feb & March, so I'll put my effort and creativity into that.

I'd like to see what the Dwarf House in ATL is serving up this V-Day!

We’ve never made a big deal about V-day, except the one year my DH made an awesome living room picnic. We don’t like the stuffy atmosphere at restaurants on “big days.”

Now that we have a newly minted toddler? I’ll get back to you.

We are working.

We are in the restaurant business.

Valentine's Day, just like NYE is amateur's night.
