If I feel like I am coming down with a cold, Campbell’s Chicken and Stars, sometimes started with bits of fresh ginger to infuse it. Maybe a shot of sesame oil added before eating.

Mmmm, good! Heck, I like this for lunch (with a PB sandwich or whatever) on a cold winter day even when I feel fine.

Something sweet and/or something salty because if it's a cold, I can't taste anything else. Broth, of course, with a bit of onion or garlic for flavor.

I sometimes squeeze some lemon juice in my Campbell's chicken soup but ginger is a good idea!

Lemon makes almost everything taste better!

When I make a pot of soup, especially chicken soup, I squeeze the juice of at least one lemon into it. Adds a subtle zing, and the extra vitamin C is a bonus. I've never tried ginger in soup, but that's a great idea.

I normally don't eat any of these things. I'm going to the store later and can't decide what to get. I don't like frozen pizza so if I had to get pizza, I'd go to a pizza place but I'd rather cook. I might make more rice porridge but I'm getting tired of soupy things. Looking to get some ideas!
Depends on what kind of sick. With flu type stuff its orange juice mixed with 7Up or Sprite and Tomato soup. Cold type stuff it's hot thi gs like wings or tacos. Things that go with Tabasco and jalapenos.

I tend to want pineapple to. Juice and fruit.

When I'm sick, what I crave is for someone else to cook something for me.
