It used to be magazines. (Enquirer, Weekly World News, etc) I barely even needed much incentive since I was so prone to buying them anyway. But since you don't see them as often that's kind of died down.

I will be forever grateful to my local grocery store, which had little bottles of hand sanitizer up near the checkouts 3 weeks ago before things got really crazy. $1.09, 70% alcohol. I bought one, along with the individually-packaged giant dill pickles next to them. Pro-biotics, you know. ;-)

I went in for toothpaste & water. Got dog treats. But that wasn't at the checkout.
