A Baskin/Dunkin is a block from my house. Sometimes I'll get a plain chocolate cone.
They used to have black licorice ice cream around Halloween at Baskin Robbins. It was so good.
I check every year but they haven't had it in at least ten. The chocolate almond was good, too.
I really only eat Chocolate and Chocolate Chip - unless it's a hot fudge sundae with no nuts, no whipped cream, no cherry, and extra hot fudge. Then vanilla is OK.
Actually, I do love a few of their flavors, but there aren't that many around me anymore, and I tend to eat ice cream at home, anyway. When my son was very young, we'd go there once in awhile, but more often to Dairy Queen - I introduced him to dipped cones and he never looked back.
Hubby and I probably stop in Baskin Robbins maybe 3x/year (there are a few gelato and frozen custard places we frequent more often). The 2 flavors I enjoy most at BR are Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter & Chocolate.
That was my all-time favorite back in the day when we had B&R free-standing stores in the area. Now the only way you can get it is at the supermarket. I tried it, and it's horrible.
My current crave-quencher is Gifford's Toasted Coconut.
I'd love to be able to find out.. The Baskin Robbins aroud here closed..
