I know there is a lot of different butter out there and other spreads, but not sure what to change to. I am using Lake O'Lakes now. What type of butter do you use or spreads? I read the ingredients on some like Natural Balance and that sounds awful.
We joke that our family runs on butter. We buy it in bulk from Costco and freeze it until we're ready to use it. We always have butter in our fridge and in our freezer. Our butter is kirkland signature from Costco, or the generic brand from our local grocery store. I'll buy whatever real butter I can find that is the cheapest, but its got to be real butter, not any kind of butter substitute.

I like Land O'Lakes and Krogers butter. Both are pretty good. I do not care for the Challenger brand whic is made in California.
Natural Balance is margarine from what I remember. The Only margarine that I have in my house is I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. I just like the taste.
Costco unsalted because I mostly use butter for cooking. If I use it as a spread, I just sprinkle a little salt on it. On those rare occasions where I've needed to spread a lot of butter, I'll splurge and buy Kerry Gold.
I do get Aldi's as it is so much less expensive but the flavor is missing. Challengar brand is a good one as far as we are concerned. I know everyone has his/her own taste. Actually Land O lakes probably is as good as any pure butter for flavor. I guess it is just hard for me to pay as much for margarine as I do for butter. It is more of a personal thing for me.
We use unsalted butter mainly for cooking. No fake stuff for us.
