Since we have a thread going on favorite flavor ice cream, I thought this would be fun, name your fave topping.

Mine is hot fudge on vanilla bean ice cream. Mrs. Richardson’s is the best I’ve had in a jar. It’s so thick! Yum

My favorite "topping" is vanilla ice cream over peach cobbler.

I have a big jar of seasonal fruit in rum, and another one with raisins, cranberries and candied fruit in rum also. I add them to cakes, and top desserts and ice cream. The alcohol seems to cut some of the sweetness and it works great together. Occasionally I might pour over a little kahlua, Grand Marnier, orange liquor or homemade infused vodka.
Rum milkshake with vanilla ice cream, or affogato is delicious too.
I don't care for any of the artificial colored sprinkles, candies, heavy sweet sauces/syrups or other sweets on the top of the already sweet ice cream.
