Potatoes are great and I have not met one I disliked, lol.
I love hash browns, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes with chives, home fries, latkes, french fries, salt potatoes and pretty much any other way they can be made.
I totally forgot "salt potatoes" - I learned about them while living in North Eastern PA. DELICIOUS!
Potatoes are the most amazing vegetable. I read that every year we consume about 110 pounds of potatoes per person. Potatoes are the world's 4th food staple after wheat, corn and rice. Northern Plains Potato Growers Association
There's a million things you can do with them - scalloped, mashed, baked, twice baked, fries, chips, latkes, knishes, hash browns, tater tots, au gratin, potato salad pierogies. My favorite is the latke. Hard to get good latkes though. My favorite latke place closed last year. I probably eat more potatoes as chips.
