I think it's cool that for most of these foods they aren't high end type of foods you find in Michelin restaurants, they can be found in street foods and even the grocery stores for relatively cheap (no food snobbery going on).

I've had the top pick, Massaman curry, it's okay but nothing I thought really memorable. If I had to choose a Thai food it would be pad thai.

And couldn't they find a better picture to represent a hamburger, especially considering how good most of the other dishes pictured seem to look? And I also don't get the ketchup thing...

Some good foods listed, but please fire the person responsible for this terrible.

Not only are there several factual inaccuracies but the copy is just drivel:

Maple syrup - "Canada's gift to parents everywhere -- throw some maple syrup on the kid's broccoli and see what happens -- makes just about anything worth trying. Pass the cardboard, please."

Fajitas being attributed to Mexico is incorrect. It is a Tex-Mex dish.

Chicken Parmesan being a popular dish in Australia does not make it an Australian dish.

Also, as elnina pointed out, the attribution of the hamburger to Germany is at least partially incorrect. While the minced beef patty served with a piece of bread and gravy (Hamburger Rundstück) may have been a characteristic dish of Hamburg, the "Bread-Meat-Salad" sandwich, as the article describes, it is an American iteration.

That's hard to judge since we didn't try all the dishes listed...

And I agree with the poster above. I think the list is more about popularity than taste, and it's not the countries BEST food.
