We had our Thanksgiving meal today - sous vide turkey breast, smoked turkey thighs and legs, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, honey glazed carrots, gravy, cranberry sauce and homemade rolls. I made 15 rolls. There were 6 adults and 3 kids - all the rolls were gone and I guarantee every adult only had one. Oh and a pecan pie and a healthyish pumpkin pie.
Turkey dinner with stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes & gravy and green beans. Pumpkin pie for dessert and Pinot noir to drink. All reheated leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner last night.
Pizza that Mr C bought. I’d say it was medium in thickness. It was ok. I’d preferred a more crustier bottom though. Alotdepends on oven temp/setting, how long one leave pizza in the oven to cook and, of course, the baking pan too. I don5 know what he used for any of it.
Finished the rest of my Coke.
Wasn’t really that hungry for dessert but did get a bite from his pecan pie.
Finally s/o found fresh turkey...pack of 2 schnitzel.......could not decide so I make each one different.
Turkey Schnitzel with rosemary, apple and shallot.
Turkey Schnitzel with satay sauce.
Rice with peas and spring onion, small piece of salted butter, herbs.
Tomato salad & dill.
Pan-fried very ripe banana with sea salt and few peanuts.
We had a rather large plate of Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch, so dinner is going to be a nice big salad.
