Well I finally got the Ham/Sauerkraut/Onions/Apples dish in the slow cooker. It's the Williams-Sonoma recipe. Contrary to the notes, it IS labor intensive. 10-15 my patootie! More like an hour. I don't have a fancy apple peeler, an onion slicer, or a gadget to remove fresh thyme leaves Anyway, it looks fantastic and looking forward to how it turns out.

I cooked up a mish mash of things to knosh on.

A Mediterranean frittata, a Moroccan lentil/chickpea veggie soup, and miso glazed tofu. They do not go together.

I just wanted some cooking done before the upcoming storms.

“Thai” ground beef, bell pepper, carrot curry served in romaine leaves.

Kind of like this, but I’m not following this recipe.

The kiddo will probably eat buttered noodles again.
