The husband came home early today. He spent his free time wisely by making an old fashioned meat sauce and let it simmer for hours. He is making garlic bread and some gigli pasta to serve with it.

Split one of our leftover 5 layer burrito wth DH after toasting/baking it some.
A Chopt salad - I added fresh sliced strawberries and blueberries, & tricolor tortilla strips.
Drink: glass of apple cider (me); beer (Mr C).

Dessert: DH heated up a brownie and gave me 1/2.

I have to ask..... how many hours a day do you spend cooking? Is it you that cooks or an SO or both?

I am fascinated with your meals, they look great, all homemade, large variety of cuisines...

Spill it dude.

Anyway...

Shrimp salad (didn't have it last time I posted), variety of greens from the garden, green onions, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, pepperoncinis, mushrooms and beets with mine. I like the traditional dressing so I got to make that, DH is doing champagne dressing (Girard's).

Sugar free banana pudding, cool whip and bananas, strawberries and blueberries.

We just got back from a 3 day camping trip. I made BBQ brisket, chicken and sausage for the camping trip so we stopped and had a BBQ sandwich by the banks of the river on the way home. For supper, we weren't really that hungry so I boiled some shrimp and made a salad and it was just right!
