Last night from freezer: turkey tetrazini. Took multiple tries to find it because husband labelled it chicken and pasta.
Perfect dinner because he was tired from making gorgeous apple pie to take to family dinner and I have a cold, no energy to cook.

Couple slices of ham, creamed corn, MacNCheese, glass of wine.

Perhaps a slice of Pannettone?

I am up in northern Vermont at an AirBnB cabin - far enough up that some radio stations broadcast in French and the Quebecois staple - poutine is found at many area restaurants. But for Christmas I ordered a traditional Canadian meat pie - Pork Tourtiere from a restaurant/bakery to take back to the cabin. It was huge and came with a big container of gravy, and I have to say, this old timey comfort food is gooooooooood! It's basically ground beef, pork, mashed potatoes and spices in a double pie crust, with gravy served over the top...

This NPR story was on tourtiere... they say it's a traditonal Christmas dish in Quebec.
