Today I am making roast pork, roast potatoes, brussel sprouts & a clove each, of roasted elephant garlic. Hubby said he wants to make pigs in a blanket, so we will have those to nibble on also.

Happy New Year to all.

Chicken Divan with Rice pilaf. It's my sixteen year old's favorite meal. I don't make it very often because it uses up a lot of pots and bowls, but it's a good celebratory meal so I figured why not today. We still have leftover chocolate cake from last night for dessert.

Ordered Chinese today from my favorite spot in DC (China Boy). Had the roast pork fried rice and two pork belly buns, downed with two pineapple rum drinks. Delicious! And I'm so grateful that the Chinese places are still open on New Year's Day and other big holidays
