Big rib eye and salad for SO. If the urge overcomes me there will be fresh garlic bread to go with it and Ctack Cookies (Oates, carmelized walnuts, dried fruit).
It looks like he will be planting gladiolas, lots of them

Trying to reduce the amount of frozen food in my freezer. There've been just too many specials to resist in the past month or so! Last night, I pulled out a nice thick Porterhouse Steak which we'll have tonight. I'll leave it up to hubby to decide whether he wants a Caesar Salad with that or a mixed one with tomatoes, cukes and onion. I have one big baking potato which we'll share. I like to do those in the toaster oven now. I coat it with olive oil, coarse salt and cracked pepper, then bake it for an hour or more, without wrapping in foil. Love the way the skin gets crispy.

Stir fry chicken and greens (need to use up from the garden before they bolt), and maybe water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. Groceries are kinda low cause we go shopping in a few days after my mother arrives.
