We had a choice thanks to daughter's delivery yesterday.

Pastitsio or rossolnik, a Ukrainian beef, barley and pickle soup. Imagine that!

Homemade tomato meat sauce with sweet IT sausages. Still can't eat carbs, otherwise I'd have had some nice angel hair with it... soon.

Last night I picked up some Korean-fusion fried chicken tacos -- banh mi style veggies & Kewpie gochugang mayo on roti flatbread. Really good but really heavy.

Tonight will be a breakfast for dinner meal -- poached eggs on toast and local asparagus roasted with EVOO and S&P

Last night was Sugo with beef (no game(( ), onions, mushrooms, merlot on long pasta with a mixed green salad. SO was happy!

Mrs Driver slathered a big rack of ribs with a garlic, brown sugar & onion rub last night and I'll be firing up the wood burner with hickory chunks to get them ribs all nice & smokey. We finally have good weather, no rain, sunny and 60 degrees outside. All I need is a lil' sippin whisky and some good tobacco while I'm babysittin' the fire.
