Won't get home until later than I like to cook, so DH can either have another kimchi fried rice omelet or tamales, and I will have a big veggie salad.

Trader Joe's balsamic/rosemary marinated steak tips - pan-fried (very good), plus "grand-gourmet" string bean casserole (not as grand as it sounds), Cotes du Rhone wine (very good).

Pirogi Soup with a very rich vegetable broth, roasted garlic Cleveland Kraut, oven roasted carrots and mushrooms. I served it with creamy cucumber dilly salad with reduces fat sour cream.

Mixed berry crisp for dessert, Reisling to drink.

Here is a link to this easy, filling winter recipe. I made some tweaks in mine - it's very a flexible and fast casual dinner. I used potato cheese pirogi. https://www.seductioninthekitchen.com/pierogie-soup/

I am always looking for a new way to prepare salmon. What is Montreal seasoning?
