I saw the lobster hidden there in the middle, Missy! Hope it was wonderful. I'm due for a lobster, soon! Sooner than soon.

I attempted to make my own S&B a couple of days ago. Bought $14 in wings, split them with my freshly sharpened, Cuisinart paring knife & mixed up my own spices like I was a NYC chef, but better. Someone forgot to tell me that 14-lbs of Himalayan salt isn't required. Okay, it wasn't that much but tasted like it. Here's how inedible it was... I ate 3, fainted from salt intake, woke up, drank 5 gallons of water & tossed the rest. Might be a slight over-exaggeration... it was only 4 gallons of water.

I'm sure yours were far better, CCM... loved the mashed with them, too.

Just curious... do you ever coat meat with oil before air frying? Or, is the whole purpose to eat sans oil? I was just curious if it would splatter all over Valhalla if added.

For me, the I'm-not-hungry tour continues... was out all day for errands, so at 5pm, bought some chicken wings at Publix & ate a few... I've got enough left for 2-days more. Followed by a double espresso & a Terrapin Hopsicutioner IPA. It's Friday, my new job begins on Monday & I didn't get to celebrate my b'day... so, I may just go nuts & have 2 IPAs.

Enjoy your weekends, All!

That's Nevada weather for you! I can't count how many times I planted tomatoes and it snowed

I had added a bit too much cayenne pepper to my wings and they came out a bit hot. The sweat from my head
started coming out!

Never "coat" things with oil for air frying.

You only spray/mist or lightly rub with oil. When you rub oil on, make sure to remove excess oil.

I used this mix:

After coating the chicken, I shook of the excess. Then I lightly sprayed each side to prevent sticking, and get it nice and crispy.

Malaysian peanut satay tofu from the supermarket. Well I ate it! Would have preferred DH’s authentic lasagna and chocolate cannolo from the Italian bakery. This is what a lower carb diet causes!

I've got a couple of turkey thighs that need to be cooked, so I'll roast them off and then make turkey salad and make a broth out of the bones and bits for use later.

Pasta with dandelion greens, orange bell, roasted garlic, balsamic, garlic and parm. Salad of curly endive, grapefruit and avocado.

Dessert will be a fennel and apple tart.
