Hamburgers without buns, coleslaw, fries. I see a black & tan on the horizon.

Alm, how is your oven? Have you been able to resume your holiday baking?

I will likely have chicken curry tonight ... I think.

I started cooking for Thanksgiving early today so I don't have a lot of energy for supper. DH wants shrimp. I'm thinking I might do a one pot dish with angel hair pasta, zucchini, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and shrimp with lots of freshly shaved parmesan on top.

Thank you everyone I still have no oven. The electrician ordered a piece and will come out to replace the thermostat hopefully before the weekend. You see as of Monday no oven,Tuesday fuse blew,no stove but circuit breaker got reset.Yesterday I baked a bread after the heating element was replaced. The bread was only 22 minutes baking( usually 40 minutes) when the oven beeped continuously and showed F10 instead of the temperature.I had to shut it off for my bread was charcoal color. The alarms went off..it was pure madness..the temperature ran away on me.Patience I need now until the electrician comes.Meanwhile I bake at a family home until problem resolved.

Tonight lentil soup, sourdough bread and Lassi to drink. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.
