The alarms went off..it was pure madness..the temperature ran away on me.Patience I need now until the electrician comes.Meanwhile I bake at a family home until problem resolved.

Tonight lentil soup, sourdough bread and Lassi to drink. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.
At least your Thanksgiving is earlier. Still, I hope it's resolved soon.

Tonight, a Greek salad with Pita which I am skipping. Grapes for dessert. Sipping tea.

This is strange, but sometimes, like today, when I do a lot of cooking and baking I get "full". And not from tasting, either. All of the food makes me feel satiated. I'm eating lightly tonight.

I did end up having chicken curry ... made it with onions, potatoes, carrots, and spinach ...

Here it is on my plate. It was VERY filling and quite delicious, although the curry sauce (I used a jarred one for convenience, Patak's butter chicken curry sauce) was too mild for me so I added some chili flakes to it at the table.

Wishing all of you in the U.S. a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We went out tonight. Our local sushi place is a wonderful restaurant/bar that we frequent every week or so. My husband is a social butterfly, so we “know” all the bartenders and servers, and it’s alway a social occasion when we go there.

So dinner tonight was their baked salmon specialty and their Thai Spaghetti. Very good!

Tomorrow we’re getting up at our leisure, cooking our sides, putting the roast in later in the day.

I’m feeling peaceful this evening.
