I didn’t have chives, but I did sprinkle roasted pepitas over all.

Let it sit for two hours or more before eating. You can do this with whatever vegetables you have, but need to include some color such as red cabbage or halved cherry tomatoes. Next time I want to try and include snow peas.

We also have hot rolls and butter and Costco chicken salad cups if desired.
Do blanch any or is it all raw? I've never had, and MUST make this.

Daughter gave us two soups - Cuban black bean and cheesy potato and bacon. So, a choice. Nice

DH out for coffee. I'm baking cookies.

Friend came to pick up her gift yesterday. I looked high and low for the rest of it. Norwegian cookies I'd warned DH about saving and then hidden in the depths of the refrigerator . Turns out he found them and ate them for breakfast!

Bachelor Son, who camped with him last summer, has taken to calling him "The Ferret."

Going out tonight for a girls happy hour and dinner at a Mexican restaurant. I kinda feel bad leaving DH without a meal, but he's very capable and I'm sure he'll figure it out.
