I tried a new recipe today - creamy garlic chicken. The flavors were good - very garlicky! - but I cut the amount of sauce in half and I still had leftovers. I served it with mashed Yukon gold potatoes and steamed green beans.

Made a big pot of "cheat" chicken soup: can of chicken broth; bag of frozen green beans (use by date October 2021) thawed; undrained cans, one each, of chicken breast chunks, hominy, carrots, and the rest of the leftover peas (dump 'em in). Surprisingly good.
