Our dinner last night was a sheet pan dinner. Chicken thighs stuffed with mascarpone, lemon zest and microplaned garlic. Sweet potato and beet root cubes. Cooking liquid/sauce of white wine, honey, lemon juice and grainy mustard. Garnished with basil.

Probably stir fry with chicken, the last pot stickers and a few Rangoons. Deep frying is not my forte but sometimes it has to happen.

Going to smoke 4 thick cut pork chops for a few meals. Roasted root veggies and salad on the side. Forecast to be single digit highs and lows of -10 to -20, so I'll call them 'cold smoked', lol.

Brrrr it is a cold, windy snowy day and shoveling snow is in the forecast

Tonight homemade pizza from Durum flour, with thyme in the dough, homemade tomato sauce, onion, green olives, green Bell pepper,ginger/garlic,red and green chilies and Canadian marble cheddar cheese.I suddenly have to think of my Canadian friend Dawn MTL,hoping she is alright. With the pizza we will have a Löwenbräu.Later by the fireplace either a round of Schafskopf or Canasta card game or Monopoly.I still have oranges so I am thinking to make Glühwein and serve Spekulatius cookies with it.

Have a good weekend EVERYONE!
