Last night I made cheeseburgers, DH did not want any sides, so I just had a sliced up apple with mine. This evening, we will be getting a wood fired pizza.

It's Olivier salad - invented in the 1860s by a cook of Belgian origin, Lucien Olivier, the chef of the Hermitage, one of Moscow's most celebrated restaurants.

This salad is a stapple in my home, also known and made in most Eastern/Central European countries.
