Going to buy a cheesesteak sandwich to go. One is large enough for both of us. I will make some kind of vegetable side dish at home.

I think you HAVE to try it. I can't imagine what that would taste like.

Pan seared chicken breast, truffle cream sauce (from a jar but it's really good), wild / brown rice mix, and some type of kale salad with nutritional yeast dressing (a new fave).

I may be late to the party, but I just learned if you drizzle the kale with a bit of oil, sprinkle with salt, and massage it a bit, it becomes softer which I find more palatable (kale is not my fave).

Coconut shrimp (coconut sauce that came with it) and tater tots. Potato salad too. Lemon ice tea.

Dessert: coconut mousse pie. Let MrC eat most of it. I was pretty full.

I had an early dinner date with the husband. We hit a brewery. https://greatergoodimperials.com/
We ordered a charcuterie board. It was much bigger then expected.

We also ordered a pesto grilled cheese. We had to take that home.

I find their beers overhopped but I feel that way about a lot of microbrews. My husband loves their beers.
