Tonight we are having chicken drumsticks wrapped in bacon on the grill; with petite roasted red potatoes, zucchini, carrots and corn foil packets. Dessert will be an apple cake with caramel frosting.
Some of you may remember that my father-in-law has been living with us since 2020 (COVID). At first I had feelings of lost privacy and familiarity mixed with fondness for him. His home is in Milan, which he rented out when he couldn't return to Italy. Now, that he is able to return to Milan, he decided that he would live there for 6 months of the year, and live with us the remaining 6 months. I am very happy because, now, I only have feelings of love and respect for him. Plus, I must say, I enjoy cooking for two appreciative and greedy guys!
