This evening, I got my vacation started at Saltgrass with a cheeseburger (slathered with A-1 ), fries, shrimp cocktail, iced tea, .......


......and two bottles of Lone Star beer!

Pulled pork, red potato & some fresh pineapple.

Broiled New York Strip steaks, baked potatoes and salad. Cabernet Sauvignon to drink.

Chicken stir fry with rice, onions, red bell peppers and cashews; crab rangoons; tea.

Grilled chicken, black beans, fried plantains, rice, guacamole, salsa, cheese melted across the top. Basically a Chipotle type bowl with the fried plantains added to it. A few tortilla chips crumpled on top for a little crunch.

Deep fried sweet and spicy shrimp with steamed rice and stir-fried sugar snap peas. Diced nectarines, pecans and maple syrup sundaes for dessert.

Would love to sit on a glacier drinking a beer for it is unbearable hot and humid today...

Tonight just "Brotzeit" with an assortment of cheeses,dill, anchovy butters,tomato/onion salad,red radish/onion salad,soft Pretzels and Bauernbrot.To drink Löwenbräu.For dessert creamy cottage cheese cake with strawberry sauce and a cup of ice coffee.
