Why? What's on the cheeseburger? Is it one of those "everything but the kitchen sink" versions that you need to unhinge your jaw like a python in order to eat it?

I agree. No "special sauce" required, either. Ketchup.

Buffalo cheeseburgers at Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe in Plano, TX, (and his mother makes some hellatious fried pies, when she feels like baking) followed by Buffalo burgers at Liberty Burger.

Best burger I've ever eaten was at House of JuJu in Clovis, California. They also have a second location in Morro Bay, California with the same menu items.

My favorite burger there is the Calamity Jane which is a thick and juicy beef burger with sweet and tangy bbq sauce, bacon, caramelized onions, and sauteed mushrooms, on a fresh quality bun. Served with a choice of side, but just get the juju potatoes because they are amazing, especially dipped in their garlic aioli.

If you're ever in British Columbia White Spot's "Triple O's" hamburger is widely available and give it a try when you visit from the USA. !!

JG Melon, a bar in NYC, makes a very good cheeseburger. Juicy, thick, cooked to order with a soft bun. It comes with pickles and red onions on the side that you can add to the burger or not.

None, except for the ones I make: a lightly toasted bun, a piece of chopped sirloin, topped with the cheese of my choice. I'll take care of the rest. Denmark, where I live, is hamburger hell. All the crap they throw in hides the taste of the poor quality cow (not steer) meat they use. The best hamburger I have ever found was in Europe was in Amsterdam close to the Pip.
