I've never heard about Dandelion jelly....sorry, nor have I ever tried it.
Is it good?
I think, your best bet would be to search the web, trying to find out some info's.
Unless, of course, other members on here have first hand experience.
You awakened my curiosity, though....please keep us posted!

I've never heard of this jelly either I drink dandelion tea, and as far as bitter part of it, that's exactly what you want from dandelion, not the other stuff.

Dandelion Jelly at Family Freedom

We make all of our own jellies, but never this one. I will try to get my dad to do it, cuz I'd love to taste it. What other jellies do you make? We make crab apple, blueberry, blackberry, peach, and grape. My mom used to make eldeberry, but not in a long time.

I am still curious....what does dandelion jelly taste like?
Is it sweet/ sour...bitter?
Is it used "straight" or mixed with something else?

When I helped my brother make dandelion wine, we cut the sepals, the green part, from the petals with kitchen shears. You still get a few, but no so many as to impart the bitterness. I don't know of a quicker way. Stick to it, it is delicious and worth the effort. Did you know you can freeze the blossoms in small amounts to keep them from discoloring while ou work on the rest?
