Bananas.

I was forced to eat too many of them as a kid and I can't stand the texture now.

Tomatoes: hard and tasteless unless you grow them yourself.

Okra: slimy

Octopus: I wouldn't eat them anyway, due to their intelligence, but the rubbery texture is off-putting.

Several cuts of meat have good flavor, but tough and gristly.

What do you avoid due to texture?

None. I like different textures and will eat anything that is appropriate for human consumption.

I would probably get a slap behind my ears for not liking something due to texture

Suggestion: put okra in a soup or stew, and its "sliminess" will dissolve.

Not sure if it is just a texture thing but I would not eat the eyeballs from any animal.

Any insects or worms - same thing.

Calimari.

Remember Charleston Chews? I did not like the sticky texture.

Can’t think of anything else.

Oh! Marshmallows. Don’t like ‘em.

Oatmeal and other hot cereals. Just can't do it.

Soft-boiled, poached or fried eggs.

Pearl tapioca. I'll prepare it for other people, but I won't "do" bubble tea or tapioca pudding.
