I remember my father telling me how good frog's legs were. I never believed him. Then I finally had some. I also didn't think catfish could taste very good, but I really liked it when I had it. Sushi of course. When I was a kid it was this exotic stuff and people couldn't understand how anyone could eat it. Now it's everywhere.
I thought kombucha sounded disgusting, and when I saw my friend's gallon jars with the scoby brewing, it looked even worse. Actually, I love it and now make my own.

I'm too scared to try it.

Hmmnn... being from Europe. One eats Escargots( these come from Vineyards) as is, buttered with herbs, not covered and drowned in cheese. Americans tend to drown everything in "cheese", makes the actual dish tasteless and cheesy.

Cheese? I've never eaten them covered with cheese. Not even in America.

Garlic herb butter is the way to go. I like to get the White Toque brand from France. We need to pick up some more, been a while.
