Crepes, oh yeah! Remember when Jackie was First Lady and we saw a delightful proliferation of French and pseudo French cuisine?

Mrs. John F. Kennedy's Baked Seafood Casserole - A Cook's Collection Potato chips?

That was really fun and piXX-elegant for a whippersnapper bride such as I.

For special occassions we would have beef stroganoff and chicken divan or chicken kiev. They seemed really fancy back in the 70's. Truth be told I still like those dishes although I rarely make them. They were considered "gourmet" back in the day. And German chocolate cake. YUM.

I'll pass on the carob ice cream but those cheese balls with nuts said "Holidays" in no uncertain terms! Especially the ones with a red coating (supposed to be wine?) under the nuts. Great memories

Oh yes! You never want to put one of those in your pocket

I forgot Keebler made magic middles cookies, they were really good too. I guess they're too expensive to make because the filling resembled chocolate.

Have to say toaster pizzas. Surprised they didn't make the article

You can still buy razzles at 5 below. I get pop rocks, candy buttons and rock candy there. Wish I could find the chocolate ice cubes and the raisin bars that were posted. I used to live on the raisin bars.

Campbell's frozen cream of potato soup and clam chowder
Snow's clam chowder (I know it's still available, but it's nowhere near as good as it was 40 years ago)
Loose teas in tins from Hickory Farms
Jell-O 123
Danish Go Rounds

I might not like all of these now, though - tastes change!

Oh, yeah ... A friend who was much more well-traveled than I (her dad was transferred at General Electric more than my dad had been) taught me how to make it. It was the coolest thing ever! LOL

Clark bars were Necco who went bankrupt. Someone bought it out. It's web only until it goes national again. Was my favorite candy bar.

Anyone remember the Zagnut bar? Another favorite of mine I can't find. Hershey supposedly still makes it.
