I've been utilizing Uber Eats about every two weeks for trying varying pizza/Italian restaurants for delivery that otherwise don't deliver here because it's too far. Otherwise for delivery I had been limited to the sub-par national chains, or a couple of closer options people are less than enthused about. Thank goodness for these new food delivery services!
When I lived in NJ, I would have pizza about once a week because there's a pizza place on every corner and there's no easier and faster meal than a couple slices.
Now I live in south Texas, where there's a taqueria on every corner, and that's the default option for fast food. Can't remember the last time I had pizza.
Works out to about once a week for me. My friend has a gluten allergy so he buys gluten free pizza at Costco and invites me over for lunch because he doesn't want to eat the whole pie. I don't care for most gluten free foods but that brand of pizza happens to be quite good.
when i had three sons at home, we had pizza every week, and it lasted 2-3 days.
we ate a lot of pizza.
i don't eat it all anymore because i found out i'm allergic to dairy.
my sons (now adults) still eat it, but not every week, maybe every month.
they live in an area where there is excellent Thai food, so they have that every week now.
Growing up, we had pizza every Sunday night. As an adult, I probably have pizza every other month. I still love it, but good pizza is hard to find here and homemade pizza is more work than I often feel like doing.
