Well I use to see and buy them in northern maine - aroostook county

That’s the only place I’d see them ( I stop at 2-4 stores per day)
I found them at a store
coming into
Machias as on the left ...
Mmm mmm good !!
You can make those. When you’re melting the marshmallows with the butter, that’s where you add the butter scotch chips. Then toss in the rice crispies and put them in a well greased 13 x 9 pan. Press them down. And then melt semi sweet chocolate chips in the microwave (watch CAREFULLY, and stir frequently) and spread them on the cooled Rice crispy treats. Let it firm up, then cut.

Costco used to sell Tiramisu Cake. but they have discontinued this item.

We were still in Quebec, somewhere. That was similar to another trip where we were driving through Kansas, there was a 'diner' at some nameless crossroads in the middle of cornfields late at night. We stopped in for some coffee and food, and I had one of the best steaks ever...and it was relatively inexpensive as well.

Smarties Squashies made in the UK. I found these in, of all places, a charitable thrift store; someone had dropped off a bunch of unopened Easter candy, and about a dozen bags of these for 10 cents each were among them. They are so addictive (now $6 a bag, available only online) that I created a thread about it...

I'm going to look for Smarties Squashes online, and I'm looking for your thread right now.

If you are heading to Alabama, you might want to try out the Fish Market in Birmingham, a Greek seafood place. It was one of the great finds I had a few years ago. They prepare seafood very well and at very reasonable prices.

When I was going to Orange Coast College (Newport Beach, CA) back in the day, there was a little shack of a cafe nearby that served deep-fried French toast.

That was the tastiest thing I've ever eaten---never seen it since. Man oh man. But that was a while ago!

Fire Mountain Grill in Toutle, WA. We had tasty, flavorful burgers and kettle fried chips. They also have cobbler, which I now wish I had tried.

Most burgers are ho hum without trimmings. These were great along with the pickles and lettuce. Great pickle slices!

The chips were homemade and perfect. Service was friendly and, as it almost always is in WA, quite pleasant.

We found this place on the road from Castle Rock to Mt. St. Helens.

A year or two ago, I was driving around and exploring Brooklyn NY, when suddenly I see this place below.
