Those little packets of sweetened instant oatmeal don't even need hot water to be edible. Cold water and 10-20 seconds for them to absorb the water. They'll be a little more al dente than if made with hot water, but fully edible.

One of the healthiest foods on the list, Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, were actually found to have the highest levels of glyphosate, at more than 1,000 parts per billion - a safe benchmark is 160 parts per billion. ...

Why? More than 200 million pounds of glyphosate are sprayed on crops in the US each year.

The 4 cup Pyrex measuring cup works well for that. It's too tall for anything to boil over.
