What are your favorite and least favorite Asian cuisines?
I'll start with mine, in order of most favorite to least favorite.
1. Thai
2. Chinese
3. Vietnamese
4. Indian
5. Japanese
6. Central Asian
7. Korean
Thai is my favorite because it's spicy, the variety of herbs and diverse flavors, and because most dishes have sauces.
Korean is my least favorite because I don't find most of the dishes particularly interesting. Many things are pickled and I'm just not a huge fan of pickled items.
I have not eaten often enough of all those to rank them. From my experience, my favorite is Chinese, which in itself has tremendous variety, and Vietnamese is second.
I'm really only familiar with Indian, Thai & Chinese. ANd of those, it's a tie between Indian & Thai, & Chinese last. Much US Chinese food is too sweet for me.
1. Thai
2. Indian
3. Japanese
4. Vietnamese
5. Korean -- it's a bit too meat-heavy for me
5. Chinese -- many dishes I like, but authentic Chinese food includes too many animals and animal parts I don't want to eat. "American" Chinese food is fine, but I'm aware that it's about as authentic as Taco Bell.

Haven't tried Central Asian cuisine.
What is Central Asian? Indian is South Central Asian. The others are all SE Asian. Asia is a huge continent which also includes the Middle East and Turkey along the Mediterranean.

Of the one's I've eaten, order of preference: Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Nepalese/Tibetan, Thai, Indian. I do like all of them, just the lower ones less.
