I try to eat healthy but I’m ok splurging occasionally.
There is a case of HaagenDazs ice cream popsicles in my freezer as I type.

Double meat, double cheese Whataburger (only onions and extra Miracle whip), large choc shake and onion rings. I gained 5 pounds on that day

heavy fried pork belly with the fat and meat sold at Mexican markets, tasty and good with a cold beer but not very healthy

The donut and ice cream thread begs the question....what's the most unhealthy food you've ever eaten?-2021-10-14_154100.jpg

Amish doughnuts. If you've never eaten an authentic doughnut made by the Amish, you haven't lived. You'll find it is huge, yeast leavened, carb laden, deep fried, and soaked in glaze. We have a local Amish grocery, where they make them fresh, and someone brings a bag or two of them into the break room at work every Friday. You haven't eaten a REAL doughnut until you've tasted one of these.
Artery clogging, but we get something most of the country doesn't.

Most unhealthy food??
That seems to be a moving target
I’ve read vegetable oils are more unhealthy
Than donuts

.. the unhealthiest????
I’m now of the opinion sugars n carbs are unhealthy
… so probably my days of eating a jethro bowl of Cocoa Puffs for dinner finished
Off with breyers mint chocolate chip ice cream with Hershey’s syrup while drinking
A regular Pepsi … and smoking a Marlboro

That was my 20’s in my 30’s I hardly had a vegetable… one pea my sister would put on my thanksgiving plate … and I ate mostly steak and pupu platters

My food vice now is still sugar … love a donut every once in a while
And Ice cream is a rare treat … coffee- Oreo hot fudge sundae … oh my!!
Only had two over the summer

I’m not 25 anymore ( almost 57) so turned more attention on a healthy
Lifestyle …
So no more Cocoa Puffs!!
I dropped most sugars n carbs and feel great!!
On no medications bloodwork is great !
I mention this because many would think my food choices are very “unhealthy “
Being mostly proteins and fats

The cake and ice cream and pastries are a challenge at family gatherings
But usually drink all the water I can handle to avoid them

The most unhealthy things I have eaten have been desserts, I think. Pecan pie or creme brulee come to mind. I like both! But wow, the sugar! Flan is another unhealthy dessert.

I have eaten butter flavored popcorn at the movie theater, and that stuff is horribly unhealthy.

White rice flavored w soy sauce and liquified lard. Back in the 70s, we love eating that as kids. My mom has a pint size container of liquid lard right next to the stove that she cooks with. Once in awhile, we kids don't want to eat the main dishes and just mix up a bowl instead. sounds gross but it's tasty.

Years ago, on a trip to Breckenridge, we stopped at a restaurant that served an appetizer of potato chips smothered in cheese sauce and bacon. It was amazing, but it was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime kind of indulgence.
