Does anyone here eat boiled okra? My mom used to make me eat it as a kid, but I have met many people who are grossed out by it. It's VERY slippery and you can slide it down your throat without even chewing. lol

I used to love a Greek stew of chicken and okra years ago, but after reading about the furry and slimey and now slippery, I may rethink the okra thing, lol.

What grosses me out:

Okra - doesnt matter how its prepared
Lowfat Milk - like someone filled container with 1/4 milk then rest water - yuck
Grape Nuts Cereal - Looks good and smells good but really gross
Goat cheese/goat milk - really gross. We are not supposed to eat anything goat related.
Anything Coffee flavored - Only coffee should taste like coffee, not ice cream or cake.
Spam - no need for explanation.
Durian - Thai fruit that smells like "you know what".
Liver - It may be good for you but it makes me sick just thinking about it.

I do however love Hoghead cheese.

I can't do oysters on the half shell. I'm a lover of seafood, but I can't do that. Just watching people sucking them up makes me hurl, big time!

Lima Beans
Tomatoes (but have no problem with foods cooked with tomatoes )
Watermelon (taste like textured water--so basically no taste)
Oysters, clams, calamari
Chicken thighs (slimey)
Bananas but not banana flavored foods
Cherry and blueberry pie
And anything spicey, hate spicey!!!!! even if its just too much black pepper

I also can't stand the thought of brussels sprouts, but that's a pretty common aversion.
I think you just ruined egg salad for me forever!!!!!
